Go me
Welp, I completely forgot to blog yesterday. No gold star at the end of December for me. Maybe I'll try for two posts today... Hmm... That sounds overly ambitious for a mom of a 10-month old. I make no promises!
Last night, I went to a women's Christmas event at my church. It was a lot of fun. I love intergenerational things. They are an awesome part of life, along with Slinkies, lizards, and meals one didn't have to pay for, to mention just a few. I'm glad that heaven is going to be intergenerational to the max ("Hello, nice to meet you, oh, you're from the 4th century B.C.? Solid. Fist bump!")
There was a musical guest at the event, and she was great. She accompanied herself on the piano, and serenaded us with some beautiful and reflective Christmas music. It's inspiring to me to see people work hard at their music and use it in meaningful ways. It gives me energy to keep working on my musical goals. For example, the Sufjan Stevens concert I was able to attend in October has been fueling my creative energy for about a month now. That concert needs to be a whole blog post of its own. I'll post on that sometime this month (if I don't forget like dumdum yesterday Amanda did).

Or it could be super awkward, like "Oh hey, Luther, sorry I talked so much smack on you when I was alive. What's that? Oh, you hate me and all the Jews? Ok, cool, bro. I'll see you around."
ok, where was the Sufjan concert? :)
Aaron: I love you. Thank you for making me laugh, even when I do not get enough sleep.
Hi Brittani! It was in L.A. Are you a fan? You should come with us next time!
I'm super glad you're doing NaBloDecMo, and I'm glad you made it out to see Sufjan. We saw that concert in OR. So good. Srsl, so god.
Louis, I am glad to be blogging in December as well. May this new habit carry through to the new year! I know, that concert was way too good. I see I need to update my sidebar with your new-ish blog! I checked it out. Good stuff!
