Umm... I'm back

Phew, I got married.
No more picking out tablecloth colors instead of blogging.
And... I'm putting off writing thank-you's for a week. So I have one week to blog!

I don't think I can even start to sum up the last couple of months. So I won't.

Instead, I'll write about KFI. So yesterday, I was just not impressed by my FM presets. (Side note so this makes more sense: my car is a '92 Pontiac Bonneville that makes the grannies jealous, and it does not have a c.d. player, or even a working tape deck. Hence, I listen to the radio as I drive.) So I pushed the button and went to a whole new world of bandwaves. Yes, I went to the AM frequency.

KFI 640 was somehow already set as my no. 1 AM station. The sometimes soothing / sometimes I-condemnyou-withtheauthorityofGOD vocal stylings of Dr. Laura Schlessinger hit my aching ears. Perfect! There is nothing better than driving in the Bonnie with the broken AC, in that good ol' 85-in-January weather, hearing Dr. Laura freakin' whip the world into shape. Like, "Lady, you don't have to feel guilty about not letting your mother-in-law who just got a pit-bull babysit your kid anymore, it's not like she could RIP the pit-bull's JAWS off of your baby's FACE if something DID happen". Seriously, she is RIGHT ON. And her "I've Got A New Attitude" theme song is so danceable.

I also listened to some guys named John and Ken commenting on the State of the State address as it aired. So you hear Ahnuld droning on about CaleeFOHNya, and then these wiseacres pipe in with all kinds of gems (well, gems, if you are a conservative with a sense of humor. Wait. Do any of those exist?). The total effect was one of being the best speech by a government official that I have ever heard. (Did I really just use the word "gems" in a blog? That seems weird.)

I <3 KFI!

Except that Rush Limbaugh was on as I drove to work this morning. Hmm... not liking that guy's style so much.

And now I am compelled to post a wedding picture. I am such a cheeseball. Aaron will tell me so too, if he ever checks my blog again and sees this.
