Yikes.
Yikes has been my word lately. Not really sure why.
I haven't blogged yet in February. Yikes.
Life has been full of changes and unusual occurences this month. No, I'm not pregnant. I mean, smaller stuff.
We're driving a different car.
I dyed my hair.
Aaron and I went to the gym two days in a row this week (!).
The high school small group I was co-leading, I will now be leading by myself.
We ate at Carl's Jr. last Sunday (not our choice).
Aaron and I watched the Academy Awards together, a first. (By the way, what was up with the winners for best original song? All the other performers were Broadway-style and singing their hearts out, and then they snuck up and snatched it with their broken guitar and understatedness. It did not seem like a very Oscar-worthy decision to me.)
We also went to Fresh & Easy, the new grocery store down the street from us, for the first time. (Overheard: A ten-year-old boy asking his mom, "So everything's fresh here?" We still aren't sure if he was precociously sarcastic, or just naive.)
Aaron submitted his first resume to a church for a youth pastor job.
He also went to a Ducks game for the first time in for-ever, and he got a sweet bike.
Our apartment is clean right now, which is pretty much unheard of for us midweek.
So there you go, some February weirdness for ya.
Has February been odd for you?

That was a GREAT post. I don't think there's anything wrong with Carl's Jr. I almost prefer it over In-N-Out (Gasp!). I was a little shocked myself that Enchanted didn't win for one of their 3 nominations for best song. Way to go with working out- keep it up! What's the new hair color?
Carl's is a solid 6.
It would be a 5 if it were not for criss cut fries.
Fresh and Easy...feels like I'm shopping at a 7-11 with produce.
Also, when was the last time you went to a bike shop?
That song was boooorrriiiinnnggg.
Wanna date?
I don't know if I've ever been to a bike shop in my life, prior to this Tuesday.
Yes to dating.
