Cheater blog post!
I filled out this "25 random things" thing for facebook... and I'm going to cheater blog post it. With no guilt whatsoever.
1. I love frogs and toads. I am pretty jealous of my brother Luke right now, because he has a tree frog!
2. I hate chocolate and peanut butter together.
3. I wish I had enough time in my life to work with the high school AND the jr. high ministries at my church - just high school for now.
4. My worst subject in school has always been science.
5. I am the oldest of five kids.
6. My husband and I met in a small group communication class at Biola - by the luck of the draw, we were placed in the same small group! :)
7. I love going on rollercoasters. The faster and scarier, the better!
8. I am horrible at multi-tasking.
9. I'm very good at intently focusing on one thing at a time - to the point of not even hearing somone vacuuming right next to me! (the old roommates will get that one)
10. I would probably eat spaghetti every night for dinner if I didn't have a husband who appreciates a little more culinary variety.
11. I love reading books that help me understand different cultures - a recent read was "The Anglo Files" by Sarah Lyall, which was all about the British. (I was an Intercultural Studies major at Biola, by the way.)
12. My fantasy dream job would be to sing country music.
13. If I didn't care about being frugal, I would go out for coffee every single day with my friends or my husband!
14. I seriously don't know if I am an introvert or an extravert. I must be right in the middle.
15. Being out in God's creation helps me feel close to Him.
16. I would rather own a small house and a big yard than vice versa!
17. I am paranoid about dairy products being spoiled. I probably throw stuff out earlier than I need to :/
18. I am terrible at subtraction. I struggle with it even if I have a piece of paper, and don't even ask me to do it in my head.
19. Most of the time, I would prefer to watch a comedy over a serious movie.
20. I am overly empathetic (it gets ridiculous - my family can attest).
21. I love SNL! Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig are especially hilarious.
22. I am extremely afraid of public speaking (in relation to #6, that's actually why I took small group communication - to get me out of taking Speech & Debate).
23. However, I don't get as scared of singing in front of people - that's why I'm taking voice lessons, so I won't suck as much and can maybe do that one day.
24. Few things make me laugh harder than my husband singing in an unbelievably high falsetto.
25. I feel so blessed by my family and friends - I was just thinking about that on the way to work today, and I'm not gonna lie, I squeezed out a tear or two. (Wow, I am so cheesy!)

Cheater! :-)
(Note to self: Actually, Amanda might be on to something...maybe I should do the same for my blog as a back-up post...)
Great stuff. I was about to send something to your FB to tell you that the "Blizzard" blog needs fresh content. "Reviews" does for sure, but we won't go there....
I understand the spaghetti thing. I am the same way. In fact, on those occasions when my wife will ask me: "What do you want for dinner?" guess what my response is. Yeah...
Coffee...hey, if you are ever in Seal Beach by the pier, go to Javatinis or in Costa Mesa. Best coffee. javatinis.net. A good friend of mine owns the company but seriously, their coffee rocks.
On a selfish note, can you change your blogger settings to accept comments from name/email/website? (Gees, what a pain I am today, huh?)
Hopefully I can say "hi" to you and Aaron in person at church one of these days!
Joe.
